Hol Art Books

Not everything at Hol is bunnies and balloons. There are also some some boring but critically important questions driving the current  behind-the-scenes work on the website. Following the site re-launch, we'll be looking for answers with our first publishing teams:

1. Can an amateur network effectively clear copyrights for works they want to publish at Hol?
2. How will designers, publicists and editors not familiar with a given book's subject judge the quality of a project submission? More to the point, will they feel comfortable trying?
3. Can often complex book contracts be standardized enough to work for everyone with only minor, pick-and-choose differences?
