Step 1: Submit a Book

Submit your project book using the form below. Our only submission requirements are that:

• Your project book must be primarily about visual art, and within the scope of a general or contemporary fine arts museum.
• And it must be full of words, as opposed to how-to books, exhibition catalogues, or monographs. We're interested in artists' writings and biographies, essays and personal memoirs, art history and criticism, fiction, poetry and drama.

You'll need to decide your team role. You can of course submit as author, but editors, designers, publicists and booksellers are also invited to start new projects. With the exception of the Project Manager role, no team member can take on more than a single role.

You'll need to supply a 10-page sample. This can be a sample of the manuscript, a copy of pages from the original book if it's out or print, a copy of pages from the original language edition and a sample of your translation, or a detailed proposal and writing sample if the book has not yet been written. We always suggest including a complete table of contents or outline of other chapters where appropriate.
